FILM FESTIVAL 2023
Over the four years of its existence, the Eurasian film festival has gathered more than 300 films from 24 different countries!
Every year, during the five days of the festival, more than 1,500 people attend the event and get acquainted with the films of the Eurasian continent.
Projects from such countries as Kazakhstan, Russia, Italy, Finland, USA, Belarus, Sweden, Germany, Iran, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Canada and the United Kingdom have already participated in the ECG Film Festival.
The film festival also includes exhibitions of Eurasian art and Silk Road Fashion shows.

Applications are open for the V annual international Eurasian film festival, which will be held traditionally in London (Romford)!

The festival will feature works such as feature films, short films, animated films, documentaries, book trailers, screenplays, music videos, and mobile videos.

NOMINATIONS
Rules & Terms

Please be sure to read the terms and conditions before submitting your film:

-The ECG Film Festival accepts films from all over the world irrespective of length or genre. Participation for the members of the Eurasian Creative Guild (London) is free of charge.

-Feature submissions must not have previously been released in the UK on any format.

- All films in a language other than English must be subtitled or submitted with a script translated into English. ALWAYS CHECK THE QUALITY OF THE SUBTITLES. (The film can be withdrawn from the festival if the subtitles are incorrect or missed).

- Exploitation or pornographic films will not be accepted.

- The submitter has personal responsibility for the copyrights for the film screening

- A fine of £1,000 could be imposed if a film was withdrawn from the festival after its official announcement and inclusion in the film festival program.

- For screening, all films should be sent to the organizers of the film festival ONLY in DCP format one month before the official screening

- The Organizing Committee of the Film Festival does not pay fees for downloading / screening films

- Preparation for obtaining an English visa to attend the film festival should begin no later than 3 months before the official dates of the film festival

Submission format:
Films entered for selection must be submitted on-line only. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLINE LINKS (OTHER THAN THE FilmFreeway ONLINE SCREENING PLATFORM) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

The ECG Film Festival reserve the right to use any material provided to us for marketing purposes and for display during Guild meetings .

Please note that shortlisted titles for each festival award will be selected ahead of the ECG Film Festival's 2022 programme announcement, with all nominated filmmakers informed of their competition selection by April 1, 2022.

Applications for screening out-of-competition on a commercial basis are also accepted.

Any film submitted cannot withdraw for any circumstances once the film has reached us and been publicly announced.

Winner statuettes are awarded only to the winners of the main nominations (winners in the Audience Choice Category are awarded only with a certificate).

JURY MEMBERS
  • English animator and former politician. In 2019, he finished in third place in the second series of the Channel 4 series The Circle, and also produces videos for Zontul Films Ltd's YouTube channel.
  • British director, writer, producer, film critic and social media expert. Co-founder of the Romford Film Festival.
  • Honoured Art Worker of the Republic of Sakha (2010).
    Since 1992 has been a stage director, chief director of the State National Film Company "Sakhafilm". Winner of the State Award of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) named after P.A.Oyunsky for the film "Cranes over the Ilmen" (2005).
    His outstanding works include such films asTygyn Darkhan (2020), Divine Time (2013), Sakha Sniper (2010)
